Oh Happy Days

My day at school was actually quite normal. I enjoy making new friends, even if they don't seem to reciprocate the feeling...
My favorite class today was Marketing. I was laughing the whole time thanks to my group, who decided our class mission statement was 'Smiles, hugs, and basketball'. Of course we got all the votes in class, so hello new motto! Dennis, my new russian friend, showed off some of his dance moves, which included a few Michael Jackson numbers. This was after one of MJ's songs was playing, and Dennis went on to ask 'Is this Justin Beiber?'
I was relishing in never ending smiles, and they even continued with Marney at Black Lake Elementary. My mom is a 1st grade teacher, and I enjoy to help her in the class! As we first arrive to my past walking grounds, mother is no where in sight. So Marney because teacher, and I because the student! Finally her class arrives from PE, and are reprimanded for their bad behavior. Tristan, my new friend, would not let me go as we sat in circle time. Little Sammi and Chase also had to be separated, even though they are planning to be married in the future. They held hands constantly. Young love, so adorable. After playing with the bugs for half an hour, it was time for the kids to leave. Jakob had me tie his shoe, Tristan attacked me with a hug/choke hold and proceeded to kiss me on the cheek, and attempted more than one! These kids were out of control! I met Lacey, who will become a teacher and knows how to play the harp. I met Katelynn who lied to me and pretended her name was Madeline. And I met Elijah who insisted I commentate on his beetle vs centipede fights. Today was a day worthy of many smiles and laughs.
So friends, I wish you to have great days in this new school year, to make many new friends, and of course, create some fantastic memories.
I think we can all say amen to that.
