Life Here, Life There, Life Everywhere

As school starts, new stresses begin to add on to the old. I decided to create a blog
1) because I'm obsessed with reading my sister's and ebay's
2) writing is one way I release my stress
3) its a way for family and friends to get some insight into the life of Liana McCann!

As most of us whine and complain about waking up early, doing homework, and/or messed up schedules...I begin to think about the bigger troubles in life. As I sit in the hospital, next to my Grammy's bedside for the 36th day in a row, I realize that my sad little issues of getting up 3 hours earlier than usual really shouldn't matter. Even though my complaints won't stop even after I have acknowledged them, I still take a moment to feel blessed for the 36 days and counting I have been given with my Grandma. As I fight for my perfect schedule, she fights every day to win back her strength, and her normal life. The bigger issue here is what I take for granted. What we all take for granted! Life for one, we treat it so poorly, so recklessly. Beautiful family members, who can be annoying at times, but who have been there through everything. And every other little pleasure that we take in life. Here's my challenge to you; tomorrow while you're at school, or teaching(analisa/ebay), or even just riding your bike...take 5 minutes to stop and see something wonderful going on. Whether its the napkin with the note on in from your mom, or the snuggie commercial on tv, smile to yourself and let nothing else bother you! As I like to say, life is precious, life is short so you better live the shit out of it. Thank you and namaste.
